She is world record holder over 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and 5000m; setting her first world record at the age of 12. But she is fast making a name for herself on the boccia court too.
She made her first appearance for Boccia UK at the World Boccia Poznan Challenger in August 2022. In the following year, Kayleigh received the call up for the Montreal World Cup. She starred in the BC1/2 line up and helped win bronze, alongside David Smith OBE and Claire Taggart.
She juggles training and competing alongside work as a tutor ay Scottish Disability Sport. In 2017, she was named as one of 30 most inspiring women under 30 by YMCA Scotland. She is also co-chair of Ayrshire Sportsability.
