Nik is currently the Head of Para Sport at Loughborough University.

He has over 18 years of experience working in elite Paralympic sport, during which time he has attended six Paralympic Games as part of the British team. Prior to joining Loughborough University, Nik worked for the British Paralympic Association as Head of Performance. At the delayed Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, Nik was ParalympicsGB’s Deputy Chef de Mission.
Nik spent a significant part of his career working at English Institute of Sport in a variety of Para sport roles including Head of Sports Science and Sports Medicine for Paralympic Sports.
He is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University where he completed his MSc in Exercise Physiology. As an athlete, Nik represented Kenya as a swimmer at the 1998 and 2002 Commonwealth Games as well as the 2001 World Championships. He is a father of two and a keen cyclist.
